Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and BuildCareer.PRO (“BuildCareer”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using https://buildcareer.pro, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use the service.

If you use BuildCareer on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You must be legally capable of entering into this agreement.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use BuildCareer only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law.

You may not use BuildCareer if applicable law prohibits you from receiving the service.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.

You are responsible for:

• keeping your login credentials secure;
• activity performed through your account;
• promptly notifying us of unauthorized access;
• ensuring that information you submit does not violate another person’s rights.

You may not sell, transfer, share, or rent your account.

We may require email verification or additional checks to protect the service.

BuildCareer provides tools for career profiling, resume analysis and creation, job matching, application tracking, tailored resumes, cover letters, recruiter simulations, and related career-development activities.

Features, quotas, supported formats, models, and availability may change as the service evolves.

BuildCareer is not:

• an employer;
• a recruitment agency;
• a regulated career adviser;
• a legal, immigration, financial, or educational adviser;
• a guarantee of interviews, employment, salary, admission, or career outcomes.

BuildCareer uses artificial intelligence to provide analysis, recommendations, rewrites, simulations, and generated content.

AI outputs may:

• contain errors;
• omit important information;
• misunderstand your experience;
• produce unsuitable wording;
• reflect limitations or bias;
• become outdated.

You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying, and approving all material before submitting it to an employer, recruiter, school, authority, or other third party.

Do not represent fabricated qualifications, responsibilities, achievements, dates, credentials, or results as true.

BuildCareer does not make employment decisions and is not responsible for decisions made by employers or other third parties.

“Your Content” means resumes, job descriptions, profile information, applications, documents, text, and other material you submit to BuildCareer.

You retain ownership of Your Content.

You grant BuildCareer a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, process, transform, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide requested features;
• maintain and secure the service;
• create exports and generated documents;
• troubleshoot issues;
• comply with law.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit Your Content.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents.

You may use BuildCareer only for lawful career-development and related personal or professional purposes.

You must not:

• upload content you do not have permission to use;
• impersonate another person;
• submit false or misleading qualifications as fact;
• use the service to facilitate fraud or unlawful discrimination;
• generate harmful, threatening, defamatory, or illegal material;
• upload malware or malicious code;
• probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities without authorization;
• bypass usage limits, access controls, feature restrictions, or billing controls;
• reverse engineer the service except where law expressly permits it;
• scrape or systematically extract data;
• resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without written permission;
• interfere with service availability;
• use automated systems in a manner that imposes unreasonable load;
• use BuildCareer to train or develop a competing model or product using unauthorized extraction of our service or outputs;
• violate applicable law or another person’s rights.

BuildCareer may offer Free, Lite, Pro, trial, promotional, or other plans.

Each plan may include different:

• feature entitlements;
• upload limits;
• AI usage limits;
• application limits;
• export options;
• support levels.

Current plan details are displayed on the Pricing page or during purchase.

We may change future plan features or prices. A change to the price of an existing recurring subscription will apply only after notice and as permitted by law.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually according to the option selected at purchase.

Unless cancelled, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period using the payment method authorized during purchase.

By purchasing a recurring subscription, you authorize our payment provider to collect:

• the initial subscription amount;
• subsequent renewal amounts;
• applicable taxes or legally required charges.

The amount, currency, billing interval, and renewal terms displayed at checkout are authoritative.

Currency conversions displayed elsewhere on BuildCareer are estimates for convenience only and are not authoritative for billing.

You are responsible for keeping your payment authorization valid.

You may cancel auto-renewal using the billing controls made available in your account or by contacting support@buildcareer.pro.

Cancellation prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily reverse a charge already completed.

Unless otherwise stated, paid access continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

Deleting your BuildCareer account does not necessarily cancel a payment mandate or pending subscription unless the billing system confirms cancellation. Cancel the subscription through the provided billing controls before deleting your account.

Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy available at: https://buildcareer.pro/refunds

That policy is incorporated into these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Displayed prices may exclude taxes unless stated otherwise.

You are responsible for taxes, duties, or charges applicable to your purchase, except taxes imposed on BuildCareer’s income.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Their terms and privacy policies may also apply.

We may suspend paid access if a payment is declined, reversed, refunded, disputed, or otherwise not completed.

BuildCareer, including its software, design, interfaces, branding, logos, original content, and service architecture, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no intellectual-property rights are transferred to you.

You may not use BuildCareer branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

If you provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you permit us to use them to improve BuildCareer without restriction or compensation.

This does not transfer ownership of your resume, profile, documents, or other personal career content.

BuildCareer depends on or links to third-party services, including infrastructure, AI, payment, analytics, feedback, and job-related services.

We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, decisions, terms, or privacy practices.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may:

• modify or discontinue features;
• perform maintenance;
• impose reasonable limits;
• suspend features for security or operational reasons;
• release experimental or beta functionality.

Where practical, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes that significantly affect paid users.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe that you:

• violated these Terms;
• created security or legal risk;
• used the service fraudulently;
• failed to pay applicable fees;
• materially abused the service.

You may stop using BuildCareer at any time.

Termination does not eliminate payment obligations already incurred or provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute provisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildCareer is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee:

• uninterrupted service;
• error-free AI output;
• a particular resume score;
• compatibility with every applicant-tracking system;
• interviews or employment;
• acceptance by an employer;
• a particular salary or career outcome;
• preservation of every file indefinitely.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuildCareer and its operators, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost opportunities, lost income, lost data, or reputational harm arising from use of the service.

BuildCareer is not liable for hiring outcomes, employer decisions, rejected applications, missed deadlines, or decisions made using AI-assisted content.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability relating to the service will not exceed the greater of:

• the amount you paid to BuildCareer during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
• the minimum amount of liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.

This section does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless BuildCareer and its operators from claims arising from:

• Your Content;
• your unlawful use of the service;
• your material violation of these Terms;
• your violation of another person’s rights.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before starting formal proceedings, you and BuildCareer agree to attempt to resolve the dispute by contacting support@buildcareer.pro and allowing a reasonable opportunity for resolution.

Subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, courts with jurisdiction in Kolkata, West Bengal, India will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.

We may update these Terms as the service changes.

We will update the “Last updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.

Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, subject to applicable law.
